StaytheCourse
Plus Size Community: Supporting Full-Bodied Living
On September 4,2009 StaytheCourse, in partnership with the American Heart
Association and the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Nursing, will
launch Choose to Move, a 12-week research study program designed specifically to
help women meet their healthier living goals. The program’s components include a
physical work-up, light exercise, nutritional coaching and online support.

The program will be administered, coached and monitored by University of Missouri-
Kansas City assistant professors Jane Peterson, PhD, RN, ARNP, BC, FNP-C  and
Peggy Ward-Smith Ph.D., RN.

There will only be 25 spots available on a first come, first served basis and the
program is completely free of charge. All participants must be members of
StaytheCourse and there is no fee to join, but donations are always appreciated.

You will be asked to come to StaytheCourse Choose to Move meetings twice a
month. At the meetings you will receive written and verbal information from our
coaches (approximately 30 minutes) to help you increase physical activity. Support
and additional resources will be available through StaytheCourse regular programs.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in the 12-week AHA
Choose to Move
on-line program and in regular physical activity in your community.

So grab your neighbors and friends, co-workers and daughters, mothers and aunts
and come join us for a 12 week health boost to living a healthier lifestyle. To join

Those interested may also become StaytheCourse
support members by paying
